You will need two king-size pillows, three European shams , and one tiny square throw pillow to achieve this. Position your sleeping pillows with the tall euro pillows and the smaller square pillow in front. Finish with 20-inch-by-20-inch decorative pillows centered in front of the two king-sized shams.

Although this is a traditional style, using three euro pillows helps maintain proportion by balancing the length of the king-size sleeping pillows. You may replace the throw pillow with a bolster or lumbar pillow to slightly change the appearance. Use two more sleeping pillows in place of the euro pillows if you want to sleep with several pillows.

D Fourth Preference: Decent

How To Arrange Pillows On A Bed: Relaxed Refinement

B Second Preference: Standard

If you only want to utilize euro pillows, king, and accent pillows, consider arranging them under this style. You will need 2 king pillows, 3 euro pillows, 4 accent pillows, and one bolster to achieve an elegant fashion for your King Bed.

Position the three king pillows in front of the three euro pillows and place them against the headboard. Next, put your accent pillows in the arrangements foreground. The accent pillows may be positioned in various ways, such as the center and staggered, or by placing one accent pillow in front of the other to make a triangle. Again, the arrangements tall headboard serves as a beautiful backdrop.

King Bed Pillow Arrangement

Since you have more space on a King size bed, you can really load it up with lots of beautiful pillows! Here is what I d recommend for the fullest pillow arrangement on a King size bed. Start with three Euros, then tow 18 x 18 pillows, followed by two 16 x 16 pillows, and three 12 x 15 pillows. If you prefer a simpler, lighter style, then use 3 Euros with one rectangle or decorative pillow in front.

Five Different Ways To Arrange Pillows On Your Bed

Styling your bed can seem like a daunting task – its not always easy to know how many pillows to use, what sizes to choose, and how to make it all look good together. A couple of months ago, I took a poll on asking about this very topic, and the overwhelming response was that YES, youd love some tips. Clearly theres a need for some easy, actionable tips on how to pull together a great-looking bed!

Well, good news – Ive got some for you!

Note that the examples I put together are for a queen bed, but Ill add some notes below each one on how you can apply the same look to a king bed.

Before we dive into my five go-to formulas, I want to define some terms to make sure were all on the same page on the vocabulary part of things. If you already know these, feel free to skip on down!

• Standard sham: a decorative rectangular pillowcase that fits a standard sleeping pillow ,

• Euro sham: a decorative square pillowcase that fits a 26×26 pillow insert,

• King sham: a decorative rectangular pillowcase that fits a king size sleeping pillow .

• Lumbar pillow: a small, rectangular decorative pillow that can vary in size – 12×20 or 14×20 are two examples of ones you might see.

All right, now that thats out of the way, lets go through these bedding ideas!

Standard Pillows 2 Euro Sham 1 Bolster Pillow

As the King Bed is family-sized, its better to use 3 Standard Pillows if three members share the bed. Use the Standard Pillows in the first layer against the headboard. Place the Euro Shams in the second layer. The Bolster should be used in the final layer. You may use a Lumbar instead of a Bolster.

Room Decor And Scheme Colour

Take note of the texture, shape, and colour scheme of the room decor to create a complete look. If you have a set colour palette in your bedroom or a feature wall, try to match your pillow covers to this. Make sure you consider decor as well if you’re planning a makeover.

Depending on the available resources, enhance your existing decor to match the pillows and duvet or get a new bedding set to create your desired look. Some people might find the perfect pillow cover and then form their room decor from this instead.

How To Arrange Pillows On A King

Weve had our new California king bed in our room for about a month now and all I can say is, What took us so long?! Having so much room is heavenly. I truly feel like Im in a hotel in that big bed and Finn and I each have soooo much space! You guys were right, upgrading to a bigger bed is pretty life-changing!
