A Soft But Supportive Fill Material
The most important part of a pillow is the filler. Is it soft? Does it provide support for your head? Memory foam has been a popular material because it can provide more support than down, but sometimes it can be too hard.
Saybrook uses a proprietary memory foam blend called Lion Down Alternative, made of memory foam, microfiber, and gel beads. The result is a fill material that is both soft and supportive.

Our Experience With The Saybrook Pillow
My husband has given me the nickname The Pillow Queen, because I love to sleep with lots of pillows. That usually means stacking at least three pillows of different firmness for a good nights rest, so I was excited to try out ONE Saybrook pillow that could have everything I needed. The pillow arrived compact in a chic, cylinder Saybrook bag, and when I took it out, it immediately began to fluff up. The pillow felt like it was the perfect fit for me, so I decided not to remove any of the memory foam. What I did remove were ALL of my other pillows, and to my surprise, I got an even better sleep with just this one pillow. The quality is so high and I didnt wake up with a sore neck or back! The Pillow Queen now only needs a Saybrook in her kingdom.

It only took two nights for me to realize that the Saybrook adjustable pillow was the one I have been looking for! As a side-sleeper myself, its the perfect mixture of soft and supportive for my head and neck. When it arrived in its compact packaging, I removed it from the sleeve and allowed it to fluff up for a couple of hours before giving it a try. After sleeping on it as-is for the first night, I removed a few handfuls of filling for my second night and that made all the difference! I woke up feeling refreshed with no sore neck!
