Choose The Right Pillow
If youre shopping for standard pillow inserts, like a queen bed pillow, you probably dont need to know more than pricing. But if youve got a pillow cover in hand that you want to fill beautifully, then you probably have lots of questions. We try to answer the big questions on our fill and fabric page, and we try to answer any lingering questions on the individual product pages . However, we understand that sometimes its helpful to just walk through the process of how to buy a specialty pillow insert.

Large lumbar pillow cover with insert in our Colorblock design hand painted in a shade of light cloud grey along the top half and dark Cloud Grey along the bottom with a single metallic silver horizontal line.
Hand cut and sewn by Phyllis to fit a 20×36″ insert with serged inner seams for durability and a brass zipper along the bottom for easy removal and cleaning.
Each pillow is one of a kind, hand painted and air dried creating slight color and design variations. Pillow cover is woven from 100% unbleached 10 oz organic European hemp and hand painted with water-based non-toxic ink. The hemp absorbs the ink with a watercolor effect, producing variations in borders, saturation and shading.
Construction. Sewn snug to fit a 20×36″ insert with serged inner seams for durability and a zipper along the bottom for easy removal and cleaning. Actual pillow cover measurements are 1 less than the insert size in order to ensure a clean, snug fit.

% Polyester Fiber Fill
Each polyester pillow form is carefully weighed and generously stuffed will all-new 100% polyester fibers. These fibers are processed with our special machinery so that they can reach their full loft potential, thus ensuring maximum stuffing fluffiness. Polyester is a synthetic material and therefore can tolerate getting wet without getting ruined.
Our polyester cushion inserts are filled by hand and we take pride in our staffâs ability to fill each pillow to its ideal weight. Each and every pillow insert is inspected and weighed before shipping in an effort to minimize flaws and defects. Our factory foreman supervises all of the production, and he ensures that all of our quality control procedures are meticulously followed.
Shipping And Returns Policy
At McGee & Co., we take design and craftsmanship very seriously and we want you to love these pieces as much as we do! Our items are carefully inspected prior to shipment, but damages do happen, and we ask that you inspect your pieces upon receipt and notify us of any damage within 48 hours our team will promptly work on a replacement. McGee & Co. does not accept returns or exchanges on the following items: custom upholstery, fabric or rug swatches, furniture, art, sale items, or items purchased at warehouse sales or pop-up shops, or gift cards. Backorder dates are subject to change. Furniture may take an additional 5-7 business days while in transit. A handling fee is applied to any piece that requires extra care to ship or must ship freight. This fee covers the cost of moving the oversized piece into the desired space and does not include package material removal or assembly.
