More On Select Restonic Mattress Features
|Q5 Twin Support|
Q5 Twin Support is actually a 5 zone individually wrapped coil innerspring support system. There are 5 different zones in the innerspring. The reference to Twin represents the 2 extra support zones under the hip and shoulder body regions. Twin support provides extra support where its most needed and also helps to increase the durability and life of the mattress.
|AlumiLast Memory Foam|
Alumilast Memory Foam is infused with aluminum micro-fibers and provides exceptional pressure relief to combat tossing and turning. AlumiLast also helps increase durability and airflow for a cooler, more comfortable night’s sleep.
MicroCoils add a second layer of 1,300 short innerspring coils to the mattress. The benefits include making the mattress more supportive and conforming than simply relying on the foam layers. The MicroCoil layer also improves the durability of the mattress since their made of steel coils rather than foam that breaks down over time.

Restonic Mattress Company Overview
The Restonic mattress brand was founded and first introduced to sleepers in 1938 as the Triple Cushion Corporation. The companys three founding members were passionate about helping people sleep better, so they designed patented mattress construction that was centered on improving body support, specifically focusing on the center third of the mattress. Little did they know at the time, but this technology was actually the precursor to what is known as todays Marvelous Middle technology, which was eventually trademarked in 1965.
In 1946, Triple Cushion Corporation changed its name to Restonic while continuing to create and promote one-of-a-kind mattress collections that took the sleep industry by storm.
Over the course of the mattress companys long history, a variety of celebrities and personalities have served as spokespeople for the brand, including Mel Blancfamous for being the voice of Bugs Bunnyas well as Steve Allen and Jayne Meadows.
The company also has a deep reputation of being a leading-edge award winner. Restonic has been celebrated by Consumer Digest and is a Womens Choice Award Winner.

Going for ‘best of both worlds’ between latex and memory foam. A revolution over conventional innersprings.
A relatively afforadable memory foam mattress with medium support
Love this mattress. So comfortable.
I recently tried a memory foam for the first time with a memory foam topper. I loved it so much I wanted a full on memory foam mattress.I had tried to use a memory foam pillow several years ago and I hated it. It was too hard and stiff. Because of that, I never had any desire to try a whole mattress made of memory foam. Boy, was I missing out. Having a chronic pain disorder, my hips would hurt so bad I would have to get up because I just couldn’t lay there anymore. I wasn’t getting much sleep at all. After getting the memory foam topper I never woke up with hip pain again. This mattress is perfect because it has a combination of latex and memory foam which not only allows for a pain-free sleep but also helps to keep me cool while I sleep. I tend to get hot while I sleep, so that is a big plus. This mattress is very comfortable for me. Much, much more comfortable than my old standard pillow top mattress. This is a heavy mattress so you’ll want to make sure you open it where you want it because it can be a bit awkward to carry around. It comes compressed for shipping and it doesn’t take long at all for it to decompress. So far, I am very happy with this mattress. It looks nice and feels divine.
I liked sleep before, but I freakin’ LOVE it now!!
Balcony Extra Firm Best For Heavier Stomach Sleepers
If you weigh more than 200 lbs and you sleep on your stomach then its really important that your mattress is firm enough to keep your hips neutrally aligned so that you dont end up with back pain.
And the support must be adaptive enough to cradle your spine without putting too much pressure on your body.
So if youre a dedicated stomach sleeper whos on the heavier side then the Restonic Biltmore Balcony extra firm 14.5-inch mattress could be ideal.
Because the extra firm level of firmness provides greater surface tension to guard against sinkage when youre on your front, whilst the support core consists of more than 1000 individually wrapped coils in the queen-size that adjust individually in response to your body shape to displace the pressure more precisely for exceptional adaptive support for your spine and joints.
This makes the Balcony extra firm mattress best suited to stomach sleepers in the 150 230 lbs range and above.
However, the firmness and support may also be fine for you if youre a back sleeper in the same weight range.
But I wouldnt recommend this mattress at all for side sleepers because the extra firmness and lack of zoned support will likely feel too firm on your hips and shoulders.
With that said, this mattress does provide some decent pressure relief for average and heavier weights thanks to the gel, super-soft foam, and gel memory foam found in the top 2.5 of the mattress.

Restonic Biltmore Luxury Lalette Euro Top Mattress
Restonic Biltmore Luxury Lalette Euro Top Mattress is a mattress that will hopefully give you a better nights sleep.
Restonic is known for making mattresses that are right for you, meaning many different types of mattresses. The Restonic Biltmore Luxury Lalette Euro Top Mattress is one of these mattresses. It has a lot of features that make it stand out from other mattresses on the market.
Its luxurious cashmere cover creates an instant cooling effect and gently moves heat away from your body all night for a temperature-controlled micro-climate. Thats also achieved by a proprietary technology that infuses aluminum fiber into the foams cell structure.
It features individually wrapped coils that are designed to provide a resilient, supportive surface layer that contours perfectly to your body. Biltmores exclusive technology delivers an edge-to-edge sleep surface with concentrated support in the middle of the mattress, where you need it most for correct spinal alignment.
What I Like:
- The top layer is made of cashmere, which is incredibly soft and silky.
- The middle layer is made of latex, which is firm and also cool, and then the bottom layer is made of coils, which keeps everything supported and firm.
- All of these layers are wrapped in cotton wrapping, which helps keep everything cool and comfortable.

What You Need To Know About Restonic Mattresses
Sizing and Pricing
Restonic ComfortCare mattresses are exclusively available through third-party sellers. As a result, price-points vary from retailer to retailer. After reviewing some of the beds most prominent sellers, weve noted most offer Queen-size ComfortCare beds at prices ranging from $1,600 to $2,500. This is average to above-average for a memory foam hybrid.
Construction and Firmness
Detailed product specifications for Restonic ComfortCare mattresses are mostly unavailable. The table below features a partial breakdown of dimensions and components for the bed. Please note that Restonic does not disclose specifications like mattress height, foam density, coil count, or cover composition.
Mattress Lifespan And Care Instructions
Restonic state that your mattress should last between 7-10 years before it needs replacing, dependent on comfort and support, as well as how you care for it. To care for your mattress properly, Restonic recommends rotating or flipping the mattress every six months, using an appropriate bed frame, a mattress pad, and avoiding cleaning fluids or allowing your mattress to get wet.
Sleeping On The Restonic Le Grand Plush
The Restonic Le Grand Plush is a firmer mattress that offers good support and prevents me from feeling like I’m sinking into the mattress. The firmness held up well during my time with the mattress. This is definitely a firmer mattress than I typically sleep on.
The top two layers of gel and foam do offer some give, to allow shoulders and hips to sit a little deeper on the mattress. I definitely prefer to sleep on my back with this mattress. It’s a bit too firm for me to stomach sleep on.
The support level is consistent all the way to the edge, so even if I sleep or lay near the side, I don’t feel like I will roll off. The edge is also firm enough to sit on comfortably. I routinely do this when I’m in a hotel to put on shoes, wait for someone to get ready or scroll on my phone.
I tested the mattress with the Reverie adjustable base that Restonic provided, as part of their R& R program. Using a Zero-G sleep position, where my legs and head are slightly raised, the mattress comfort level increased. However, not many hotels I stay in offer an adjustable base for the bed.
I like the adjustable base design and the included under-bed lighting. This feature is great in a home and one I love to see at a hotel.
Warranty & Sleep Trial Period
Restonic does offer warranties for their mattresses, but the coverage for each individual model is not that clear on their website, with the maximum warranty coverage extending to 10 years. Additionally, as Restonic mattresses are available only through third-party retailers, any sleep trial information will be provided by this third party.
For this reason, we would recommend referring to the warranty and sleep trial period of the retailer where you purchased your mattress for more precise information.

Restonic Mattress Review Is It As Good As They Say
With so many choices out there, you probably feel like theres a perfect mattress just waiting for you to find. Maybe so, but youll more likely find that the perfect mattress is the one youre used to sleeping on.
That said, it doesnt mean some mattresses wont suit you better than others.
Restonic is a greybeard in the mattress game, and they still produce exceptional mattresses to this day. Theyre known for making luxury hybrid mattresses with a wide range of options and a traditional aesthetic.
In this Restonic mattress review, youll get an overview of the Restonic mattress brand and a look at their three main collections of mattresses.
Is A Restonic Mattress A Good Investment
Restonic makes mattresses of varying types more so than other, bigger manufacturers. So, asking if buying one is a good investment depends on what type you buy. Some types of Restonic mattresses are better than others.
Being a smaller manufacturer Restonic has tried to find a niche as a company that uses the latest technical advances in its product range. It makes everything from traditional innerspring models to air, viscoelastic and even magnetic beds. Its products are of high quality though some don’t fair as well as some other brands, so whether a Restonic mattress is a good investments depends on which type of mattress you choose.
Restonic may make many different types of mattress but its core business, like most other manufacturers, is its innerspring models. Currently these are grouped under the Restonic ComfortCare range. First, let’s cut through the jargon the company uses in describing the mattress to the consumer. The Marvelous Middle System’ touted by the company is nothing more than putting more coils in the center third to provide better support. This is old hat all manufacturers of quality mattresses place more coils here as it obvious this is the area that has to bear the greatest load.
The SuperEdge Plus Technology is also sales babble. It’s nothing more than placing high density foam around the edge of the mattress to encase the coils. It provides a firm edge and consumer seem to like it.
