Latex mattress toppers are notoriously pricey and the cost can increase significantly if its thicker, natural latex, and accompanied by a luxury cover. So the main reason Im including the Pure Green is its reasonable price.
The three inch version is cheaper than other latex topper brands Ive looked at recently. And you can choose a one or two inch version instead of the full three, which will bring the cost down even more. The two inch topper, for example, ranges from $155 to $265, depending on the size you need.
So this is an opportunity to try out latex without stretching your finances too far. Its made by a company in Sri Lanka, which perhaps explains the lower price than some American-made toppers.
They have soft, medium, or firm versions, which gives you more choice. Personally, I like the medium version as Im a side sleeper and it provided the right level of comfort for my hips and shoulders when on my side, though the soft would probably have been fine too. If you sleep mostly on your back, you might prefer the firmer style instead.

Perfectly Snug Smart Topper: I really wanted to love this topper. It uses little fans to promote airflow to keep you cool through the night. The app lets you customize your experience, even heating the topper to wake you in the morning. Unfortunately, it just isn’t comfortable to sleep on, like really uncomfortable. It reminded me of sleeping on a sofa bed, with its hard spots. I’m interested in testing future iterations of this topper as they company makes it more comfortable.
Eight Sleep Pod Pro Cover with PerfectFit: The cool thing about the Eight Sleep topper is it makes your bed as hot or as cold as you want. It pumps water between 55 and 110 degrees Fahrenheit through the topper to keep you cool or warm you up. The app tracks your sleep, and you can adjust the temp to help you stay asleep through the night and wake up in the morning. We initially recommended the Pod Pro Cover, but after less than a month of use, it sprung a leak, which destroyed the mattress it covered.
Lucid Gel Memory Foam: This topper is incredibly soft, like our budget pick. Since it’s made of memory foam, you sink in, making it hard to change positions in the night or get up in the morning. We recommend going with our budget pick instead because of its superior cooling properties and motion isolation.

What Makes The Saatva Stand Out
- It comes in three different models. Thats right, it comes in Graphite, Latex, and Foam, so there should be a model for each type of sleeper.
- The topper is great for alleviating pain. Back sleepers should enjoy good lumbar support while their hips sink in just the right amount, and side sleepers should feel nice pressure relief on their shoulders and hips without hitting the actual mattress.
