I think decorative throw pillows are much happier being used that being protected as if they are an endangered species. Even though we call them the truth is, they are there to serve us, not just look pretty.

Crystal, there is a secret. You know how I show you all my yard sale and thrift store items but then I also talk about investment pieces? Like how I think a rug is really worth paying good money for? Same goes for a bedyou spend a big percentage of your life on a bed, get a good one. And an upholstered pieces, especially the family sofa should be the best you can afford.

4. Edow Next in line, this pillow came VERY flat. I definitely had to work with it a bit to fluff it up, but overall it fluffed decently! Its lightweight, which means it cant stand by itself. Its hard to get the lumpy fill spread into the corners, which means they dont have a very stiff point. Its actually surprisingly comfortable! $18 for a 22×22 is a great price point, so if you dont mind a slightly lumpier pillow, this could still be a great option. This pillow only comes in 5 size options, all square.

I thought I knew what love was. But I was wrong! For years I’ve been saying the only pillow inserts I like are down-filled, but they have now been demoted to my second favorite type of pillow insert. And quite frankly, they don’t even compare. They’re chopped liver. Thanks to Lauren of Lauren Haskell Designs and her new online shop, LoHome, I now have a new favorite pillow insert and I cannot rave about them enough!
The new inserts showed up folded over and squished into boxes. I was certain I would have to fluff and pat them back into shape and was a tad concerned about how they would look. Boy was I WRONG!
Once I opened the packaging, they bounced right out and assumed the perfect shape. They easily fit into the covers from LoHome and really fill out the entire thing! I was so impressed that I went to find my husband as he was heading out to run some errands and tossed him the pillow. His whole face lit up and he smiled and said, “This is MY pillow now”. Haha, I think NOT! His reaction was priceless and really all you need to know about how amazing these pillows are, but just in case you’re still not convinced that these are the most amazing pillows ever, allow me to elaborate!
