How Do We Rate The Firmness
Because Nectar has a unique foam feel, its difficult to grade the beds firmness, but wed say its around a medium-firm on the firmness scale. We think the mattress provides a comfy compromise between pressure-relieving and supportive.
With the three layers of memory foam, this bed has a distinct, dense memory foam feel. However, its a different memory foam feel in that its firm at first. When you lay down on the bed, you dont immediately sink.

First off, looking at the comfort layers of these two mattresses, we see some different materials. The Nectar features memory foam that gives the mattress more of a slow-moving feel, and the Tuft and Needle features Adaptive Foam that makes it more responsive with a balanced foam feel.
In terms of firmness, we thought both mattresses were close to a 6.5/10, about medium in terms of firmness. Again, these mattresses might feel firmer or softer depending on someones weight, but they should feel close in terms of firmness.

The biggest Nectar complaints that I have heard are the long wait times. Due to demand customers can experience waits over a few weeks before their product arrives. In my opinion, it is well worth the wait. With the recent coronavirus pandemic, shipping times are delayed so keep that in mind. It may take 2-3 weeks for your mattress to arrive instead of the typical 5 business days.
How Do I Return A Nectar Mattress
The biggest complaint about Nectar is their customer service. They are impossible to reach on the phone so your best way to contact them is on their website through chat. These Nectar Mattresses Are Really Really Comfortable
Once we got the Nectar Classic and Premier mattresses out of their indigo-colored boxes, we unrolled them and let them breathe. Its pretty remarkable how compact they make the mattresses, given how much they expand. I took this photo less than two minutes after cutting the plastic.
The mattresses are firm enough to support your body, but squishy enough to adapt to it thanks to the ample amounts of memory foam. The cooling layer on top is legit you can feel the heat being drawn away from you.

We absolutely love our Nectar Mattress! Having recently moved in together, we were sleeping on a spring mattress and movement transfer was a big issue. We kept waking each other up in the middle of the night.

What Is The Nectar Mattress Cover Made Of
The fabric that is used all over is a specially milled long-staple cotton blended with something called Tencel fibers. Nectar also notes that this part of the mattress has an aloe-based cooling layer.
