Day Fianc: Pillow Talk New Cast Members Added
It seems that they have worked most of their issues out and the producers really liked Emilys personality on the Tell-All episode. It seems as if a lot of the drama that they had on the show could have been scripted because on the Tell-All, she seemed a lot different. Kobe is pretty funny and this could carry this couple throughout the show.
One couple that fans were pretty shocked to see on Pillow Talk is Kara Bass and her husband, Guillermo Rojer. On the Instagram, Mommy Says Bad Words Too, they shared the video of Kara talking about how she and her love would be on Pillow Talk. The reactions from fans wasnt surprising and many of them did not have kind words for the couple.
One wrote, TLC really wants to cancel this show, dont they? Another wrote, Im excited because Guillermo is adorable! Many fans added that they were glad that Jibri Bell wasnt going to be on the show and it looks like some Kara haters had a change of heart when they saw her on the Tell-All and they really have started to like her.
When it comes down to it, 90 Day Fiancé does have a lot of edited and possibly scripted moments and that is why many fans do give the cast a second chance after watching the Tell-All and following the cast on social media. We hope that Pillow Talk will also allow fans to get a different picture of the couples and their personalities.

The Large Age Gaps Are A Problem
Many couples on 90 Day Fiancéhave significantly large age gaps. The younger half of the couple is almost always the party emigrating to the US, and they are almost always female. The most notable example of this is Mark and Nikki from season 3. Mark was 58 with children older than Nikki. Nikki, originally from the Philippines, was just 19 years old.
Re-watching episodes with large age gaps can make for uncomfortable viewing – especially if the couple can be rather toxic. A large age gap, especially if one has moved to a new country, can create a power imbalance that works in favor of the older half of the couple, as the younger half attempts to assimilate to life in the States.

Bad Behavior Is Rewarded
In order to keep viewers engaged and returning for more episodes, reality shows need to keep interest high with dramatic storylines. In doing so, reality shows will often portray certain cast members in a light that will make viewers root for them.

In order to deliver on the drama, there is typically some level of permissiveness by the 90 Day Fiancécrew when fights break out between cast members – either verbal or physical. When re-watching the biggest scenes of the season, some viewers will wonder why the crew didn’t step in when cast members were subject to cruel or abusive behavior.
Its An Unrealistic Depiction Of Long
In order to keep the show entertaining, reality show producers will look for cast members – and couples – with the biggest personalities possible to keep viewers engaged. Couples on 90 Day Fiancétypically have dynamics that create a lot of tension and arguing – often having rather contrasting personalities to one another.

Casting agents for the show have stated they look for couples that differ from “the normal American relationship”. This means that the couples on the show represent very few couples, especially those in a long distance relationships. Their depiction on the show can misrepresent viewers on what a long distance relationship dynamically generally looks like.

Day Fianc Star Annie Reveals Pillow Talk Set Secrets In Bts Video
90 Day Fiancé fans are shocked after Annie Suwan posts a behind-the-scenes video from a Pillow Talk episode that reveals the show might be staged.
Popular 90 Day Fiancé star Annie Suwan shared a behind-the-scenes video of Pillow Talk on Instagram, which led fans to believe nothing on the show is real. Annie and her husband David Toborowsky are one of the most-recognized franchise couples after their debut in 90 Day Fiancéseason 5. Thai native Annie and Kentucky man David may have faced difficulties in the beginning, owing to money issues and their age gap. But in 2022, not only do they have their own spin-off called David & Annie: After the 90 Days, they are also in the top 10 highest earners of Cameo, are celebrating their weight loss success, and even have a rumored baby on the way.
The Thoroughness Of Background Checks Is Lacking
Former 90 Day Fiancécast member Geoffrey Pachel was sentenced in 2022 to 18 years in prison for domestic violence and kidnapping of a previous partner, prior to his appearance in the franchise. Many fans – and even cast members – have called out the show for not doing enough safeguarding to ensure that abusive partners are not given a platform on a reality show.
Re-watching episodes of abusive cast members often makes for an uncomfortable watch. The red flags in Geoffrey’s behavior, for example, are more apparent – and raises the question once more about when and if reality shows do enough to keep cast members safe.

There Are Too Many Spinoffs
90 Day Fiance’s mass popularity means that its demand was met with numerous spinoffs, such as 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days or 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, which fill in the gaps before and after the main seasons of the show.

With over a dozen spinoffs, however, there is an excess of content for fans to catch up on. Spinoffs such as Pillow Talk, in which former cast members commentate on new seasons, seem less necessary. Some couples, such as Angela and Michael, have extended their relationship arc across multiple shows, making it difficult for more casual fans to catch up on where they are now without extensive knowledge of the show.
Foreign Countries Are Poorly Represented
It is rare to get more than a brief glimpse into the culture of the non-American half of a couple on 90 Day Fiancé. The show often centers the American experience, even on shows such as 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, where the American emigrates to another country.
When foreign cultures are depicted on 90 Day Fiancé, they tend to display the most conservative side, as the clash of the cultures are a major point of contention across the show. Other countries tend to be represented in a more one-dimensional way that may conform to stereotypes held by the American half of the couple.

Episodes Are Too Long
90 Day Fiancé, especially in some of its wildest seasons, has a lot of storylines for viewers to catch up on. In order to contain all the most dramatic scenes and cringe-worthy quotes of each 90 Day Fiancécouple, episodes can be over and a half long, the length of a typical movie.
While this can keep viewers entertained, episodes can be time-consuming, especially for more casual viewers. Those who are re-watching their favorite seasons may find that episodes can be a bit of a drag when they’re already familiar with the plots unfolding.

Day Fianc Fans Now Think Pillow Talk Cast Isn’t Authentic
Why can’t anything be authentic on this d*** show, a fan asked in Annies comments. Some fans admitted that theyd always suspected the cast wasnt spending time decorating their own bedrooms for the shoot. One fan claimed they noticed the same bats used as Halloween décor in two of the 90 Day Fiancé couple’s bedrooms. Meanwhile, a couple of TLC viewers appeared confused about whether Pillow Talk is filmed on a set or if its the couples real home. Its in a rented staged room, claimed one of Annies many Instagram followers. But a post from August on Annies page where she had a sheet mark on and indulged in music therapy before bed showed the same bed in the background that’s featured in Pillow Talk episodes.
Regardless, 90 Day Fiancé fans do feel its awkward for someone to have an entire filming crew in ones boom boom room. There are still many unanswered questions about Pillow Talk that fans have, including how much the cast earns per episode and the timeline of the episode being filmed. Since the episode is released immediately after the actual episode the cast is reacting to, and its not streamed live either, it’s certain that the Pillow Talk people have early access to it.
Scenes Are Overly Edited For Dramatic Effect
Seasoned fans of 90 Day Fiancémay pick up on how much editing goes into the show when re-watching their favorite episodes, and notice all the cuts and reused footage that comes with heavily edited footage. Many cast members, such as Deavan Clegg, have accused the TLC network of using editing to create scenarios that didn’t actually occur.

While editing is required to whittle down hours of footage into concise episodes, fans will wonder how much of the episodes they have watched will actually reflect real life events. An edit can portray cast members in a villainous or a heroic light that may not reflect their true actions during the filming of the show.

Day Fianc: 10 Harsh Realities Of Rewatching The Series
The reality franchise 90 Day Fiancé makes for some of the most popular television around, but a rewatch will make fans more aware of its deep flaws.
90 Day Fiancéis easily one of the biggest reality franchises of all time. The original show is due to air its 10th season in early 2023, having finished its ninth season in fall 2022. The show boasts more than a dozen spinoffs thanks to its cult following and the stardom enjoyed by its most memorable cast members.
For dedicated fans who revisit old episodes, the flaws in the show’s core format may be more apparent on a re-watch. Its depiction of long distance relationships and immigration, as well as the behaviors exhibited by some of its cast, may take the shine off the beloved franchise for many viewers.
